My fill yesterday was uneventful. The doc filled until he thought it looked "perfect" under fluoroscopy and then backed out a bit until I felt comfortable--for a total of 1cc. I think that puts me at 8.25cc's total. Although, I've had so many fills & partial unfits that I'm not really certain at this point. I took my Ibuprofen for two days--an attempt to prevent the swelling (thanks Jen for the tip). Today I'm on liquids and I might even go an extra day tomorrow since we'll be traveling and I don't want to take chances. It usually takes a couple of days for the swelling to kick in, anyway, so keep your fingers crossed for me!

good luck with this fill. does the ibuprofen go down? I am back to being able to take whole pills but there was a period when I could not. Perhaps this is a good sign that you are not overfilled???

BTW... The museum you are interested in going to in Chicago is free 09/26 through 09/30, I'm not sure when you are arriving in Chicago. We're getting there on Thursday.
