Thank you all so much for your kind words and support after my pity party yesterday. It's exactly what I needed.
I'm over it and it's time to re-focus. The fact is, I didn't get a fill yesterday and I just have to deal with it. Instead of drowning myself in cheeseburgers, I will continue to do my best to stick with the plan. After all, I'm doing this for ME--and anything else is just counter-productive.
So, I have 3 more weeks until my first fill...here's what I'm gonna do about it:
- I'm going to lose 6-8 more pounds between now and then (2-2.5 lbs per week).
- I'm not going to use my trip to Portland as an excuse to overeat. I can enjoy the local flavors a few small bites at a time.
- As soon as the orthopedist says my ankle is okay, I'm going to go to the gym I just joined at least 3x each week (even if it's just to walk on the treadmill).
Here's my challenge to you. If you've hit a bump in road recently, what are you going to do about it?

Way to work it! I got on my bike today but I find I have undone all of my fitness and my backside hurts already :)

That's what I have also decided to do, just get straight back up on the horse and keep going.
