poop...poo...doo-doo...dookie...crap...caca...(possible TMI)

Four days ago, I ran out of Fiber 35 powder (similar to Benefiber).  I usually put about 1 Tbsp in my smoothies every morning.  I do this because with the "protein first" and all that, I feel like I might not be getting enough fiber from vegetables & such.

Four days ago, I pooped.  Today, I pooped again.  There was no pooping in between.  It was uncomfortable.  And, such a relief!  I haven't weighed myself, but I swear I feel 10 lbs lighter!

Note to self:  Never, never, never run out of fiber powder.  Ever.  The End.

it is an ongoing thing for me. In fact..i almost look forward to the problem because it seems to really appear when I have really good restriction. As the restriction slips the regularity improves :) weird eh?

I have had success with a 1/2 cup of OJ before dinner but my consistency has slipped with it lately.

Supposedly... If you get more fiber you lose more weight in your hips, butt and thighs... since it balances the estrogen or something. It is difficult to eat low carb and still get enough fiber, even while taking a supplement. I wish that there was a supplement with enough fiber in it most only have 3-5 grams... How much is in one Tbs of the Fiber 35 you use? and where do you get it? *Maria*

Oh, I hear ya. I use Benefiber every morning in my coffee. I add 2 tsp. to it and it does keep me very regular. I hate being so uncomfortable!

@Maria--That's interesting about the connection between fiber and hips. That's where I need to lose the most! Just like you said, it has about 5g per Tbsp. I figure every little bit counts. I can't remember where I first picked up the Fiber 35--maybe Whole Foods? Most recently, I ordered it from Amazon.

@Miss Vickie--It never occurred to me to put it in my coffee. Maybe I'll try that, too.
