distractions...

My 15-year old Shih Tzu, Bonnie, has liver cancer & is not doing well.  We've been dealing with that this week--which means no time for blogging.

I'm making an effort not to give into my default "comfort" eating.  I'd say I'm at a 75% success rate on that one.  I'll try for a more interesting post in a couple of days.

Poor Bonnie. I feel for you - it's horrible watching a pet go through this. Been there, done that. I hope she's comfortable.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Bonnie. I remember when I lost my dog a few years back...it can be devestating. They really do become part of the family. My heart goes out to you. Hang in there.

I am so sorry to hear about your dog. That is a rough situation. I just found your blog and can't wait to follow along on your journey.

THis is so hard. And for those of us who are animal lovers, our hearts go out to you. I was just saying to Tracey yesterday taht when Shelby (my 11 year old dog) goes, I hope it is quick and painless. I know there is nothing we can say to make you feel better, and sometimes it really sucks that we outlive our pets...but I bet Bonnie has lived a pretty awesome life full of love. And can any of us ask for anymore?

How sad. I am thinking of you all. They are such treasures in our life...so loyal and they are with us for such a short time. I am a vet nurse and find these things so hard for everyone. I look at my dog all the time and just love him more Enjoy Bonnie....thinking of you all
