Drake needs a home (temporary foster or permanent)

Drake is an awesome 2-1/2 yr. old male Welsh Terrier located in Georgia and looking for just the right home. He has so much going for him - good house manners, very handsome, perfect health, knows & obeys many commands and is eager to please. He is also capable of being fiercely loyal to his owner and therein lies the reason he is now up for adoption. He cannot and will not tolerate other pets in the household.Toys, food and attention become items to compete over as this is what he always had to do.Drake has lots of young dog energy and needs plenty of exercise and playtime. Tossed tennis balls are his favorite although in true terrier fashion he often will retrieve but may elect to keep the ball. He does well with other dogs as long as they are not part of his family. Cats are not tolerated at any distance. An experienced dog owner with plans for additional training is essential. While a single owner is preferred, Drake does play well with older children (10 and up) and could adjust to a family hs'hold willing and experienced enough to work with him.
