I don't like the name of my blog. It just sounds so depressing!--and long--and boring in the minutest detail.

Lynda: Just turned 42; blissfully child-free. An athlete in a former life, I was banded on June 8, 2010. Sadly, the band did not work out for me and I converted to a Sleeve Gastrectomy on Sept. 4, 2012. I am an extroverted introvert and a smart-ass. I love animals--all kinds and can spend hours just observing nature. I am a grammar snob and a foodie (although I hate that term). I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen. I strive to live an environmentally neutral and sustainable lifestyle. After a lifetime of denial, I finally acknowledged my inner-geek (I love sci-fi/fantasy & have been known to play a video game or two) and was smart enough to marry the man of my dreams. He's been my friend since the 3rd grade. Murphy is our goofy Welsh Terrier--he's the only "kid" we'll ever need.
